Ivory nails.
Here is a nail look that I have been loving, matte ivory nails. I find white a bit stark but a bone/ivory hue I think looks gorgeous. I added the matte top coat just to shake things up a bit, and I must say I really like it, plus it works really well on me to stop chipping. These nails were done yesterday and normally I would have some lovely chips thanks to the washing up and having flaky nails in general. My only tip is, keep it short and sweet, in my opinion white/ivory nails do not look good on long, claw-like talons. Oh an the roses as the background? A lovely bouquet I received from my boyfriend for our 3 year anniversary, what a sweetie eh?

My step-by-step eyebrow routine.
So here is my eyebrow routine! the pictures are pretty self explanatory but I will do little written guide as well to explain things a bit;
1. I start off by using a spoolie to brush the hairs of my eyebrow downwards
2. I then take my benefit browzings and, using the wax, I draw in my upper guideline, I do not do anything on the bottom as for me that looks to 'drawn on'
3. using what is left on my brush I run it through the rest of my brows, and then again with the powder out of the browzings. This makes all of the hairs lie back in the right position and adds some definition and colour.
4. I then take some clear mascara and use it to fix my brows, brushing slightly upwards so that you can see that I actually have hairs!
5. I do not always do this step, but if I do highlight I use my rimmel scandaleyes in nude for a more natural lift.
6. I then blend and maybe add some powder to set and add a bit more shimmer.
And there is my finished eyebrows on my made-up face!

Kiss Me Coral
Coral may not be the winter-iest colour around, my love affair should have ended when our sunshine did, and the plums and vampy hues should be well in force. However, one day I just couldn't resist the call of the corals, trying to hold on to their summer glory days no doubt! The Revlon Photoready blush in pinched is one I have had for a while, it is definitely more of a summer product as it is quite sheer and natural, but makes a good base for similarly coloured blushes if you wish to build up colour. Which is what I did here when I added Benefit's Coralista, which also serves as a lovely highlight. Kiss Me Coral, a gorgeous orange hue-d lipstick from Revlon was the star of my face, so everything else was kept quite subtle. I love the formula of this lipstick and think the colour really helps bring a freshness to my face, I also love the packaging of these lipsticks, basically everything about them, I really should buy some more! have you got a summer colour that you just can't say goodbye to yet?

Interview make up
I thought I would just show you guys what make up I wore to an interview recently, I wanted to keep it quite natural with nothing OTT. So that it just looked like my face, but better (mlbb mfbb!). I have been a bit rubbish and actually forgotten what products I used. If you want to know a product, tweet me @emmiegeeblog I can make a very educated guess for you.
DISCLAIMER: This make up look will not guarantee you a job, it didn't with me.

TK MAXX bargains: Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder.
I am back!! and back with a bang, in the form of this gorgeous illuminating bronzer from Elizabeth Arden. It is available from Debenhams here for £26 but I found mine in TK MAXX for £12.99! The Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder ( will be copying and pasting that lot from now on!) is housed in the most luxurious looking mirrored packaging with simple flowers, a motif echoed on the the product itself, almost to pretty to use! It also comes with a large mirror inside which is always a bonus.
My first impressions when I opened the compact was that it seemed very shimmery, though as I swatched I found that most of this is just an over spray. Once past the initial shimmer layer you are left with a lovely subtle bronzer that does still have a hint of shimmer, but not to glitterface standards. I quickly brushed this on my face over my cheeks, forehead and chin to give you an idea of the subtle warmth and highlight it can add, the smattering of light pink also stops it looking to 'muddy' in my opinion. I also swatched it on my arm for a clearer indication of colour. I think this will be perfect for people with a pale complexion like mine, but the intensity can also be built up for if you are darker skinned or used more as a highlight.
This is definitely the most luxurious bronzer I own and I can tell I am going to completely love wearing it to give a bit of life to my face during the minimal-sun months. If you can find this in your local TK MAXX then I definitely recommend you pick it up.
